When decorating a small room (like Bedrooms, Home office etc.), most people have a tendency to stay with-in the neutrals and light colors pallets to try to visually make the room appear larger.

Overall it’s a good concept to and to implement, but at times it may seem a bit cold and dated from the other living areas of the home! Creating pops of color to the decorative pieces that are being displayed in the room, like pillows, throws, art work, books, rugs etc. makes a BIG impact on a $mall budget! Making the rooms stand out (from being all neutrals) feel warm and cozy. The accessories can also be changed throughout the year, like green and red for holidays, yellow, blue and orange … through summer and spring.
